Christina Hinchey
Director, Richardson High School Eaglettes
Christina Hinchey grew up in Durant, Oklahoma, where her passion for dance and drill team began. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. While at SOSU, she spent three seasons performing in musicals with the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival’s summer repertory.
Mrs. Hinchey has over 15 years of coaching experience at the High School and Collegiate level. Prior to arriving at Richardson High School, she was the founding director of the Wakeland High School Legacy Line and also directed in Allen ISD and Plano ISD. Throughout her years as director, Mrs. Hinchey has led teams to multiple championship titles and feature performances such as Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Super Bowl 45.
Mrs. Hinchey loves being able to take part in the traditions of RHS and the Eaglettes. Building relationships is her favorite part of teaching and directing. When she isn’t working with dancers, she enjoys cooking, camping, playing with her three dogs and two cats, and listening to her husband play music.
Holly Hess
Assistant Director, Richardson High School Eaglettes
Miss Hess started cheering and dancing when she was 10, spending many summers at ADTS drill team camps, earning Junior All-American honors multiple years. She was a member of the Irving Sparklers Dance and Elite Cheer Competition Teams. She served as Jr. Assistant/Assistant Coach and choreographed dances for the youth organization she grew up in.
After high school, she was 2-year member of the North Lake College Dance team, as well as a UNT alum. Although she did not dance during her time at UNT, she attended classes at Dallas Powerhouse of Dance, and North Lake College, performing in over a dozen semester dance concerts, including a solo and her own student choreography piece to "Burlesque". During college, she found her love for country dancing and has been boot scootin’ for 12 + years.
She strongly believes in the benefits dance can have on mental and physical health. Whether it’s on a field, "the Marley", or a hardwood floor, dance feeds her soul, and she wants to share her passion with future generations.
